Habakkuk 1:8-10

⁸ Their ^(A)horses are faster than leopards,
And quicker than ^(B)wolves in the evening.
Their ^[a]horsemen charge along,
Their ^[b]horsemen come from afar;
They fly like an ^(C)eagle ^[c]swooping down to devour.
⁹ All of them come for violence.
^[d]Their horde of ^(D)faces moves forward.
They gather captives like sand.
¹⁰ They ^(E)make fun of kings,
And dignitaries are an object of laughter to them.
They ^(F)laugh at every fortress,
Then ^(G)heap up dirt and ^[e]capture it.
